During the months of July and August all the various Mastercrafts Trainers Teams concentrated on the OPEN DAY that marked our NGO SPES 41st Anniversary of Vocational Training at grassroots level, and also the 27th Anniversary of our IT and Design Unit which was held on 3rd September.

Our Guest of Honour was Indrasen VENCATACHELLUM the former prestigious Director of UNESCO’s Division of Cultural Expressions and Creative Industries Secteur de la culture/ Sector for Culture, well known for his dynamic actions specially in promoting SMEs High Quality Designer Products.

The SPES Quatre Bornes Training Centre initiate a permanent Microwave Corner to promote “Healthy Cooking and Baking” and started a Microwave corner to help to counteract diabetes and cardio-vascular and obesity problems.

All throughout the day in keeping with our Potato campaign our SPES Canteen Trainers demonstrated delicious nutritious potato recipes. These are now illustrated on our Cookery e-book that aims at encouraging potato planting and eating in view of the world food crisis.
