SPES was honoured that the Selection Committee of the 12th INTERNATIONAL EUROPE AWARD FOR QUALITY, yearly granted by the “editorial office” Madrid publishing house and the TRADE LEADERS’ CLUB, found SPES worthy of receiving this prize in its 1998 presentation. Apparently their decision was based on information provided by the 14,000 entrepreneurs members of the TRADE LEADERS’ CLUB, coming from 112 different countries.

The prize giving ceremony of the 12th INTERNATIONAL EUROPE AWARD FOR QUALITY took place in Paris, on November 30th, during a lunch held at the Méridien Etoile Hotel, and presided over by French commercial authorities, as well as diplomatic corps and representatives of the economic and cultural sectors of the country. The Mauritian Ambassador in Paris, H.E. Marie France-Roussety, participated at this prestigious Trophy presentation.

Among the planned events, the President, Mr. Pardo Rodriguez, organised a work meeting to promote interactivity between the different enterprises attending the ceremony. During this meeting , the directors of the awarded companies (from more than 25 countries) were invited to present their enterprises and main activities. Interesting contacts have ensued as most of the enterprises are high-tech oriented and engaged in electronic communications.

The Bronze and Marble Trophy is the work of the Spanish metalsmith and sculptor, Martin Perillan and the SPES High-Tech made its image rotate for the Cybernauts to be able to admire its elegance.
