NGO SPES sent a Cordial invitation during the national MAURITIUS ILE DURABLE – MID Week to a GREEN OPEN DAY on New Ecological Crafts & e-Skills Displays, on 19th March 2009 to mark the SPES 42nd Anniversary on Crafts Training mostly in rural areas and also the 28th Anniversary of our IT & Computer Aided Design Unit. Demos on the basic quick-learning Multi-literacy course were carried out (MQA approved) that, funds permitting, can be dispensed yearly to over 3,000 illiterate adult job-seekers, seeing that the SPES Vocational & Multimedia training Centre has already trained 33 special Trainers from several Poverty areas.

- Pottery designer-products with recycled glass glazing over Mauritian clays
- New Crafted functional products made from recycled fibers eco-extracted from local plants e.g. papaya, sanseveria, ,etc
- Healthy recipes using Green foods
